INSTRUCTOR: Morgane Keesling COURSE TITLE: Basics of Concept Design and Sketching for Non Artists and "Stick Figure Only" Creatives PREREQUISITE: None. If you have no experience doing concept design that is OK. This course is designed for people who are introducing themselves to the subject for the first time-- if you're someone who says "but all I can draw is a stick figure", then this class is for you. It would be helpful if you have a drawing tablet or an Ipad with stylus, but as long as you can reliably post clean photos of your work then we will be alright. DESCRIPTION: In this course we will start from the very beginning, learning first about the applications of concept art in the themed entertainment industry, and then we will begin to develop the basics of effective sketching and visual form creation techniques. Assignments in this course will be exercises focused on repetition and technique practice. This course WILL have homework. You can't learn to draw by watching!
